The Happiness Advantage – 21 Day Challenge – Day 2

DSC_0062-2 (31)

Hello everyone! Below is my Day 2 blog for The 21 Day Happiness Challenge.

 I Am Grateful For

1. I am grateful for Life. Last night we spent the night raising money for the Weiche foundation. A simple reminder that you don’t know when your life will come to an end and to live it to the fullest.

The Kurt Weiche Memorial Scholarship Fund donates scholarships to Buffalo Senior High School. Kurt’s life was a dedication to youth and athletics and it was an easy choice for his family to continue this great man’s legacy through college scholarships.

ONE LIFE NO REGRETS! ( If you know me well you know this is my favorite saying)

2. I am grateful for my cat Reece. Meow! If you know Reece, you know that whereever I am in the house, she is on my lap, in my arms or very close bye. She greets us every time we come home at the front door, she likes me to carry  her around like a football and watching her play with Charlie (our other cat) always makes us laugh and smile. Reece is a simple joy in our life in which I am grateful for.

3. I am grateful for  warm weather on November 7th. Due to the nice weather Paul and I spent the afternoon playing 18 holes at Creek Bend.

1 Positive Experience in the Past 24 Hours

As noted above we spent the night raising money for the Kurt Weiche foundation. Was a fun filled night for us with Amy and James Svododa. Was a great experience seeing so many people come out to celebrate Aaron Wieches dad and support a great foundation for the kids. http://kurtweiche.org/

Exercise

I was able to talk Paul into walking our 18 holes of golf today. We decided to add a little more exercise to our game by playing best ball. The person with the ball we didn’t play off of had to do 10 squats, 10 jumping jacks, or 10 lunges. Needless to say I am very sore! OUCH!

Meditate

I am sorry to say I did not complete this today.

Random Act of Kindness

Today when we went to pick up our wedding rings from our jeweler. We told the  lady that was reviewing the work done on our rings, how much we love Joes (the jewelry repair guy) work. We have been with this jeweler for almost 9 years and every time Joe has our rings they come back looking brand new. So the lady was telling us Joe had a very bad day today. Lucky he was talking to another customer on the sales floor, so Paul and I went over and told him we love his work and thank you for always making them look perfect. We walked away with Joe smiling.
